In my post Best Wishes Mga Panget, Ate Thess commented:

kapag sinagot na ako ni marie digby. ahaha!

I guess if there is an award for the best talent scout out there, you got to hand it over to YouTube who once again gave birth to a star…

Marie Digby is half Irish and half Japanese and plays the guitar and piano by ear. The video above have over four million views on YouTube and opened an opportunity for her to appear on the Carson Daly show. Currently, she has 4 songs up on iTunes and will be coming out with an album around April this year.Congratulations and more power Marie!

When I published the post The Hottest Pinay Scandal in support to Macuha’s SEO Pinay Scandal Experiment, I wasn’t really thinking of how many traffic this post will add up to my site. I just wanted to provide an alternative information to those searching the web for Pinay Scandals. I wanted to inform the scandal seekers that Pinays have a lot more to offer than sexual pleasure. They are also an epitome and contributor of our national pride.

Help! Search Engines Are Keeping Me Boxed

August 24, 2007

Anyone would want to be included in the top result of search engines like Yahoo and Google. That is why I was glad to learn that I ranked 4th in a certain string of keywords in Yahoo. However, a question popped out of my mind after I noticed that the search result is pointing only to my index page,

“What if after a few more posts and that topic is no longer available in my index page, will my site still turn out in the search result for that same string of keywords?”Logically, I think it will no longer show. If it does, my visitors might not be directed properly to view that specific posts of mine. I would really want the results to point directly to my post’s permalink like it did to the #1 and #5 result in the picture above. I just don’t know how.

If anyone out there can clarify this confusion of mine please, shed me some light.

Joost™ the best of tv and the internetI have a Joost account but I can’t really say anything about it except that one of its minimum system requirement is that your PC should have at least 512MB of RAM. Too bad mine runs only at 256MB and with that, I can’t really enjoy it.

What is Joost?
Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.

POP Rock!

May 9, 2007

I first encountered the beauty of a Post Office Protocol (POP) mail account when I had it for the first time in my former job like five years ago. With the mail client checking and downloading all my mails every one minute at the very least, I never had to miss any interesting conversation from my yahoo groups, encouraging and humorous mails from my friends, and information from my managers (now is that good or bad? ).

I exhausted all my efforts in finding a free one for my personal account yet my search ended in futility. That was until Gmail came along. However, a Gmail account can only be created via invites from existing subscribers. Well not anymore. Free POP mail accounts have now been more accessible unlike those old, dark days.

The ™ed Status

May 2, 2007

What is a trademark? Well, based from Wikipedia

A trademark or trade mark is a distinctive sign of some kind which is used by an individual, business organization or other legal entity to uniquely identify the source of its products and/or services to consumers, and to distinguish its products or services from those of other entities.

Furthermore,

The owner of a registered trademark may commence legal proceedings for trademark infringement to prevent unauthorized use of that trademark.

And guess what I recently discovered bearing a mark?
