Acne Day To Lovely Day

May 29, 2011

One of the horrors of growing up is encountering acne. This could be the worst nightmare adolescence dread. A tiny mark is enough to ruin a bright sunny day. This problem are often worsen by trying out medications with unfounded results. We can always ask for advice and opinion but I still think the best approach is to consult the experts. See a doctor. Don’t just try an acnepril for the sake of trying, ask those who tried it to learn how effective the treatment can be.

You need not be living a daily horror. You can turn a dark day in to a fun day just by taking the correct course of action.

Interesting Adolescence

May 29, 2011

Adolescence is that period in life where our children encounters questions that need to be answered. These questions can be varied from trivial to enlightening: questions about life’s mission and purpose to how to get rid of pimples.

Petty as some questions can be, the ability to address their queries properly can have a significant impact in their lives. It can either build or destroy their confidence. The wise response is for us to be honest and encouraging. We need not know all the answers but we can help them discover it.

Convenience and Portability

May 26, 2011

In this digital age of ours, isn’t it amazing how things are getting smaller in size but is expanding in function? Take the mobile phones as an example, not only did it became more handy but it is now equipped with mp3 players, internet browser, GPS, camera, video recorder, and God knows what else in the future.

Another evolving technology are the projectors. From the old acetate days to direct plugins to our computers. Size has also greatly improved. We need not live up with those heavy and bulky units as a pocket canon projector can already be purchased in the market.

Whatever technology brings to us in the next ten years, for sure, it will be something more convenient.

May 26, 2011

A senator’s main job is to legislate and not to investigate. This is the message that Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago wants to send out to her fellow senators for working hard in passing 758 bills and 124 resolutions in the Philippines’ 15th Congress. This includes the controversial Reproductive Health bill, Senate Bill 2378 or “An Act Providing for a National Policy on Reproductive Health and Population and Development.”

The Fun Of Interaction

May 21, 2011

Summer is about to end here in the Philippines and hopefully, kids had a great vacation packed with outdoor activities. Hopefully, children didn’t spent their entire vacation sitting in front of the television or playing video games. There is a lot of fun doing outdoor activities and interacting with other kids.

I miss the days where we can sit in front of an outdoor fire pit under the great big sky at night exchanging stories. Such moment not only widens our knowledge learning other people’s experiences but it also create a certain bond among each other. Such moments are truly more precious and valuable than playing all by ourselves inside our home.

Fashion Challenge

May 21, 2011

I read an interesting fashion dare article the other day where a girl allowed her boyfriend to choose her week’s office and weekend outfit from the thing available in her closet. The first few days were impressive but turned frustrating latter in the week. Her frustration is not from the choices her boyfriend was making but from her inability to choose clothes to her liking. Though she seemed to have learned a lesson or two, she is not considering doing a part two of it.

I was now thinking, what if the dare goes the other way around. I wonder how a girl will react matching outfits from her boyfriend’s wardrobe. A man’s closet can be a little boring as we seems to be fond of buying clothes of the same type. When we are into parish clothing, expect to see a cabinet full of it. If we are in to shirts and shorts, have a closet full of it. Now, that will definitely be a good challenge.

Like A Thief In The Night

May 21, 2011

The Philippines went abuzz over the alleged prediction that the world will end today, May 21. I am really disappointed how the media gave too much attention over such claim as if it really could happen. This incident is nothing new as previous “prophets” declared the end of the world.

In my opinion, if someone managed to specifically pinpoint the exact date on when the world will end, God will definitely postpone it. As a christian, I believe that the end will come upon Christ’s return and the Bible says that His coming will be like that of a thief in the night. In the most unexpected hour, He will come. That is why we are asked to always prepared and ready for no one knows the day nor the hour.

Weight Control

May 6, 2011

I have no statistical evidence but based on my observation, kids nowadays are prone to be overweight. I am now hearing of children between age 5-10 years old who are having weight issues. It is alarming that such age can be prone to overweight complications like high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, breathing problem, gallbladder disease etc.

Weight need to be controlled. We may find chubby kids cute but this should not be reason to let them be. Overweight adults should also take measures to trim down their pounds. Consult a dietician that can help you eat healthy and eat right. It is never too early to make healthy living a goal. Read oxyelite pro reviews to learn if they are compatible to your lifestyle and learn if it could help you in your goal.

Bottom line, excess can be bad and in the case of our health, can even be costly.

Goal: 60 Kilos

May 6, 2011

I need to lose wait. I am currently suffering from a health problem and I think my weight has something to do with. Once I get a clearance from my doctor, I plan to start running again and trim down my weight to 60 kilos by the end of the year. Good luck to me!

I have been constantly encountering weight loss remedies like sensa. If you are wondering does sensa work? It is best to consult your physician and read online reviews.

Hopefully, by next week, I am cleared to do more physical activities.
