Flu Alert

I am still recovering from flu. I had a fever last Wednesday afternoon and decided to consult a doctor Friday afternoon when my temperature readings were not showing any improvement at all. I was not swabbed with A(H1N1) but the doctor decided to prescribe me with Tamiflu. It was funny because he was asking me if I want to take the medicine and keeps asking me to not be scared since they have been prescribing the said medicine long before the pandemonium started. It seems that the medicine have caused paranoia to some people.

I find the medications he gave me to be effective because it only took overnight for my temperature to go down below 27 degrees. I’m glad I went to the doctor on that day because as I learned, Tamiflu has a 48 hour effectivity window from the first flu symptom. By the way, I lost 3 kilos without the help of Apidexin. Haha!
