American Idol Season 8 is through and what a season it was!

There are a lot of theory that surfaced on how Kris Allen won against Adam Lambert but I do not want to discuss all that now. It was a good season with a star-studded finale that I guess everyone enjoyed. “Anticlimactic” as the ending may have been for some, accept it that Allen is Season 8′s American Idol! Wohoo!

Choose To Be Free

“May Bukas Pa” is a daily prime time show in Channel 2 about a boy who is searching for his mother. I chance upon it a few weeks back and it was a moving episode. The character played by Lorna Tolentino thinks that the boy is her lost child. It was a touching episode. They were almost sure that Santino was their child until the result of the DNA test was released.

One character in the show was dismayed by the result of the ancestry dna test even remarked why such a test even exist when it only hindered what should have been a happy ending for the said two characters. As if the test became an anti-hero for them.

Regardless, I think that it is always best to seek out the truth for there is freedom in it. May the result be of pain, sadness, sorrow, or joy; always choose to be free.

Free Time, Fun Time

If you have a couple of free hours each week, how do you plan to spend it?

The answer to this question will definitely vary depending on how you spend most of your time. Those who are mostly laid back would more or less prepare to go on an adventure trip while those stressed out from work or from school would more or less want to relax a bit. To each his own. The important thing is to be productive and to enjoy your free time. Do the things you love and enjoy the things you can learn.

Some things you could do with your spare time is study a musical instrument, watch a movie with your friends, read a good book, or enrol in medical coding training courses.

How do you mostly spend your free time?

I Want to Play

Have you ever had the interest to play any musical instrument? I did. So when I was in my third year in high school, I enrolled myself for an Electone lesson. I managed to finish the lesson on the first module when I decided to try learning the piano instead. It was then that I discovered that playing the piano is way more difficult than playing an organ. I had problem making my left hand do a varying key strokes than my right hand. It was then that I decided that keyboards are not for me.

I never thought that after all these years, I’ll find myself wanting to play piano again. At the very least, master to play even a single song will do. I guess this desire was influenced by the recent popularity of piano rock songs like Drops of Jupiter and Boston.

Hopefully in the near future, I’ll be able to find time and the patience to self-learn my piano piece. Wish me luck!
