America Names First Half of Idol Season 8′s Top 12

American Idol have modified their selection process for the Top 12 of Season 8. They have now selected 36 hopefuls, grouped the performances by 12, and picks the male and female with the top vote and whoever receives the second highest. This is a game of popularity and luck. Here is the first half of Season 8′ Top 12:
From Group 1:
- Alexis Grace – 21 years old from Memphis, TN
- Michael Sarver – 27 years old from Jasper, TX
- Danny Gokey – 28 years old from Milwaukee, WI
From Group 2:
- Allison Iraheta – 16 years old from Los Angeles, CA
- Kris Allen – 23 years old from Conway, AR
- Adam Lambert – 26 years old from Los Angeles, CA

I failed to watch the whole Hollywood thing and have only seen parts of the auditions episode so I am basing my opinions from watching their Top 36 performances. My favorites so far:
Alexis Grace – I love her playful control over her voice;
Allison Iraheta – I love her raspy vocal though at 16, I’m not sure she can pull every performance; and
Kris Allen – call me a fan but I think anyone who can come up with a good performance from an MJ song (aside from Ben) is one talented person.
So far, who is your favorite Idol hopeful?

I know, he will not win eventually, but I like Michael Sarver. Let’s wait for Li’l (Kim?) ung black girl. For now, I like all 6 finalists.

I was right about Li’l Rounds! hehehe. I like all the 9 finalists except for Nunez. I’m afraid he’ll make it all the way to the top 2 due to Puerto Rican votes.

im just catching up on the hollywood episodes ngayon via torrent. nanghihinayang ako sa slot na binigay kay tatiana at kay… yung nagpapaka komedyante. ang dami pang magagaling na di nakapasok.
