Share Your Outer Banks Experience

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is a landscape of sand bar islands stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean. It prides in its natural, historic, and cultural treasures making it a popular destination for Beach lovers.
I just learned of this spot a few days back and honestly; I’m having a difficult time grasping a scenario where people can enjoy kiteboarding, surfing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, birdwatching, sunbathing, swimming, cultural shows, and museums all in one natural setting. It seems like a beach country club without the exclusivity, more of a community than a vacation place. How I wish we have a similar one here in the Philippines.

Summer Is Near

Last week’s 10AM heat is this week’s 8AM’s. Summer is near…
I guess summer excites most people as this have become synonymous to vacation and outing. I am not like most people. I personally think that summer is the worst time to go on vacation: accommodation rates are high, most spots are crowded, and it’s freaking hot! A humid day equals a grouchy me.
Though I enjoy the beach, I would rather spend the day lazying around a secluded place enjoying a cool breeze while listening to soothing music. It’s wonderful to think that you can hop from place to place on an rv camping vehicle enjoying what nature can offer you. That is my kind of summer vacation this year.

Naruto Manga 437: Love Breeds Sacrifice

In Naruto Manga 437: Confession, both Naruto and Nagato desires peace. One believes in one that is just a lie while one thinks the other’s is a fantasy.
With the child of prophecy all pinned down and Pain’s chakra seeping through him, Hinata decides to jump in to the action and protect Naruto. Despite knowing that she is unmatched, she stands firm with a resolve to defend the one she loves eventhough it means losing her life. She launched a Juho Soshiken against the enemy but was easily repelled.

Litratong Pinoy: Bulaklak

Mahilig ka ba sa bulaklak? Ano ang mas naa-appreciate mo dito: ang kulay ba o ang bango? Anong bulaklak ang lubos na magpapasiya sa iyo kung bibigyan ka? May natanggap o may binigyan ka ba ng bulaklak nitong nagdaang araw ng mga puso?
Marami tayong pwedeng pag-usapan tungkol sa bulaklak. Ngunit ano man ang maging paksa, I hope that you feel as good as the lady above whenever you see flowers. ^_^

The Need To Backup An iPod

Being used to flash-type mp3 players, I was surprised to discover that Apple’s do not work that way. So ever since I got my iPod, I have been dying to get at least 500GB of external hard drive to back it up. Though some might think that it is better to grab a 1 Terabyte drive, I dread the thought of losing the same size of data. The only thing that would make me grab one is that if the price drops anywhere near the 3,000 peso price of the 500GB.
Hopefully, this will be the last of my buying spree but who knows, tomorrow I might be wishing for a new video cards.

Slumdog Millionaire goes home with the most Oscars on the 81st Annual Academy Awards. The movie won all categories it was nominated for except Best in Sound Editing.

Naruto Manga 436: The Quest For Peace

In Naruto Manga 436: Peace, Pain reveals a personal side of him to Naruto. He shares how he himself lost his friends, family, and village from the hatred that rules the ninja world. He knows that such hatred will desire to bring out justice thus, giving birth to another’s hate. He thinks that this vicious cycle will only stop when people starts to fear pain. So he plans to use the tailed beasts’ power to inflict pain to the world.
Naruto, though does not agree with the means, understands the reality of what Nagato was saying. Jiraiya himself once shared that he wants to stop the hatred that he feels is spreading. Sadly, he do not know how. But he remains optimistic that someday, people will start to understand each other.
A Day At The Hot Air Balloon

Last Valentine’s Day we traveled to Clark for the 14th Hot Air Balloon Festival. With only an hour of sleep, we hit the road at 2AM and arrived around 4:45AM. We originally planned to stay until the balloons’ fly-in but the circumstance didn’t permit as one child who were with us got sick. So we head back to Manila at 4PM.
It was a long and tiring day. Sad to say, the venue was not that convenient for anyone who plans of staying throughout the day to see the activities unless you come very well equipped (i.e. you brought your own chair, shade, and washroom with water). Otherwise, spend the rest of the afternoon in SM Clark. Even Kellogg’s tiger was feeling uncomfortable…
If we had to do this all over again next year, we plan to go to Clark after lunch in time for the fly-in, check-in for an overnight stay in a hotel, see the balloon flight the next morning and be back in Manila by lunch time. That would make the whole experience, 100% fun-filled!

One thing about love that I have always believed is that you do not find it… it finds you. It will sweep you like a strong wind and you cannot help but move.
Today, tell your significant half how much you love them. If you haven’t found him yet, still learn to enjoy life. Being single doesn’t mean being incomplete. Who knows, today might be “THE” day. 
Whatever the case may be, I hope you get to enjoy this Valentine’s Day.

Iba iba ang kwentong puso ng mga tao. May mga madaling nahanap ang kani-kanilang kapareha habang ang mga iba naman ay dumaan sa ilang kabiguan bago tuluyang nakilala ang kanilang “Ms/Mr Right”.
Ang pag-ibig ay naihambing na sa maraming bagay. Ngunit para sa akin, ang pinakamagandang pagsasalarawan dito ay sa isang bunga. Kapag hinog sa pinilit – maasim. Huwag mainip dahil ito ay sadyang darating sa panahong handa ka na. At kapag ito ay nasa iyo ng mga kamay, manatiling tapat at huwag gayahin ang nasa larawan na si King of Hearts.
