Judge Not
November 16, 2008
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37)
There is a significant difference between judgment and discernment. God sees people’s hearts and knows their motives (Prov. 16:2). Only God can accurately judge those who deserve punishment. Ultimately, Christ will sit in judgment upon us all in the day of judgment (2 Cor. 5:10). Our problem is that we like to sit in the judgment seat and pronounce condemnation upon those whom we think have sinned! Scripture commands us not to judge or condemn others, for we cannot be judgmental and redemptive at the same time. It is difficult to pray sincerely for someone while we are judging them. At times our judgmental attitude can seem to provide us an excuse not to become involved in God’s redemptive work in someone’s life. Scripture reminds us that God will treat us with the same grace or severity with which we treat others (Luke 6:38).
Going Vintage?
November 16, 2008
When you’ve walked the earth for quite some time, you just can’t help but look back. Reminiscing is proven to be more fun when done with friends of the same age group.
Last Friday night, I had a trip down memory lane with my forum friends. It started when one brought up that the ultimate “generation gap (GG)” story he encountered is that younger people he knew doesn’t know that the King of Pop is/was an African American! With that, more GG stories followed: movies, television shows, fashion, snacks, humor, and a whole lot more!
From that discussion, I realized that fashion is just running in cycles. Though they may go out in time expect them to make a come back, redesigned to suit the taste of the current generation like the Wayfarer sunglasses.
All I Want For Christmas
November 14, 2008
I don’t usually prepare a wish list for Christmas as I don’t expect anyone to give any of them to me. In my case, wish list just turns into a things-to-buy-next-year list for me so I’d rather keep it short or not create one at all. However, there is always the temptation to make one and so here it goes
:
1. Laptop – the so-near-yet-so-far item that I have always wanted. I always end up spending my savings for other gadgets.
2. A “How To Throw Out of Your House an Unwanted Relative Without Hurting Her Feelings” For Dummies book.
3. A quarter of a million pesos. If fate will be kind enough towards me, make that half a million pesos please. That is, Philippine peso to be more specific.
4. talking watches. Don’t you just love getting conscious in the morning wanting to know the time without needing to open your eyes?
5. Lastly, that all things will go well with our family.

Movie Experience
November 12, 2008
A lot of people loves watching movies. When we have a lot of spare time before a certain meeting, we usually spend it inside the movie house enjoying soda and popcorn while seated in a cozy chair. A well air conditioned area certainly adds up to the experience.
However, there are people who doesn’t have the liberty of time to go to movie houses. Instead, they prefer to collect DVDs of their favorite movies for home viewing whenever they have the time to squeeze it in their schedule. They find this more practical as they could watch their favorites over and over again.
New Strength
November 9, 2008
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
At times you may feel so worn out and stressed that you are not sure you can take another step. You may seem to spend all your time running from crisis to crisis and to be constantly giving your time and energy to others. Your Lord wants to renew your strength and enable you to enjoy the abundant life He intends for you. The key is to wait upon Him to do so.
Litratong Pinoy: Maalaala Mo Kaya?
November 6, 2008

Pag-apak mo daw sa gulang na 26 ay tumitigil na sa pag-produce ng neurons sa iyong utak at sa halip ay magsisimula na itong mabawasan ng 1% kada taon. This explains memory gap.
Be Defensive
November 3, 2008
With poverty on the rise, the streets have never been as dangerous as before. We here a lot of reports of robbery and theft especially during holiday seasons. Anyone wouldn’t mind losing money and possessions over one’s life but sadly, some criminals are in the habit of taking both. Others even go as far as violating female victims. With news like that, it is only reasonable to worry for our loved ones.
Sadly, we cannot always be there to protect them. The best that we can do is to help them protect themselves. We can encourage them to enroll in a basic self-defense program or give them some self defense products like a pepper spray, personal alarms, or stun guns.
Do not entrust your safety solely in the hands of our law enforcers. Everyone must be capable to defend themselves.

November 2, 2008
Have you seen any moth lately in your pantry with a bronze-copper and yellowish-gray wing? They could most likely be an Indian meal moth.
