Auspicious Dates

September 30, 2008 · Filed Under All Entries, General

Feng Shui is the Chinese art of arranging buildings, objects, and space in the environment in order to achieve energy, harmony, and balance. Though I’m not totally solved with this practice, I admit that it fascinates me at times.

Contrary to the popular notion that Feng Shui is all about arrangements, you might be surprised that it also involves doing the right things at the right time or what they call as auspicious dates. There is a favorable time for a business transaction, ground breaking, prayer and worship, renovation, and moving.

So if you are in to Feng Shui, check for your sign’s auspicious date for moving before you contact your local truck rental.

I just collected the keys for my house, and I noted that in the Year of
Ox, renovation is not good, and I can’t wait till next yeat to renovation my new house. Therefore is there any date in January
2009 whereby I can just start the renovation by hammering the wall
in a way to say that I have started the renovation cos’ the contractor
is not going to start work for me now, they wanted to start only after
    CNY. Please advise
