A Godly Influence

Then the LORD said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. (Genesis 7:1)
The children of Noah faced a significant decision. They lived in a world where everyone blatantly disregarded God. Wickedness was the norm. No one would have condemned Noah’s sons for living evil lives like the rest of society—no one except their father. In a world rampant with ungodly attitudes and every form of wicked behavior, they were fortunate to be Noah’s sons. When their father invited them to spend the next hundred years building an ark in obedience to a word from God, Noah’s sons had to choose whether to believe those around them or to trust their father. They chose to join their father. What a wonderful testimony of Noah’s godly influence in his home! How fortunate for Shem, Ham, and Japheth that their father refused to compromise his integrity, even though everyone else in his society had done so.
Minimize Acne Flare-up
June 14, 2008
It is but natural that students, especially freshmen, want to look presentable on class opening. They would wear a well pressed uniform, use some hair styling gel, and put on a nice perfume. However, acne tends to ruin all of these preparations. Although you can always grab the best acne treatment in the market, the following steps I found on the internet may be taken to minimize flare-ups:
- Gentle washing of affected areas once or twice every day.
- Avoidance of abrasive cleansers.
- Limited use of makeup and moisturizers; with avoidance of oil-based brands altogether.
Work Hard, Play Hard

I bought my Sony Playstation Portable three months ago and have finished, and enjoyed, three games so far:
Patapon – as the Mighty God of the Patapon, you must lead them to defeat the evil Zigoton tribe and reach earth end where the legendary “IT” that brings contentment lays. Strategically command your troops using rhythmic drum patterns to march, attack, defend, or retreat.
Will You Fit In Japan?
June 14, 2008
Hot off the e-press! Japan is setting a waistline limit for its citizen. As part of the country’s healthcare program, Japan sets a strict limit of 33.5 in. waistline for men and 35.4 for women. This measure (pun) will help the government to prevent deadly diseases related to obesity. Penalties for those who exceed the limit includes up to 6 months of re-education about proper diet and nutrition. So, it’s either you move it or pop some diet pills (of course with professional medical supervision).
Naruto Manga 404: Revelations
June 14, 2008
In Naruto Manga Chapter 404: Hawk and Akatsuki, Tobi unmasked himself before Kisame to reveal that he is Uchiha Madara (though his face was still not shown in the manga).
Meanwhile back at the Leaf, Naruto was summoned by the Fifth and was surprised to see Gamabunta with Gamakichi outside the Hokage’s office. Things even became more puzzling when he saw four more toads inside.
We learn now that the grampa frog who fought along side Jiraiya is a head hermit toad of Myouboku Mountain and is actually the one who taught Jiraiya the Hermit style ninjutsu. Fukasaku-sama, without beating around the bush, broke the news to them that Jiraiya have died in battle.
Experience That Manhattan Skyline
June 13, 2008
We often celebrate our relationships by giving tokens and gifts. In the Bible, Jonathan passed on to David his royal garments as a sign that not even the throne will stand between them. In the movie Cars, Lightning made Fred’s (the tow truck) dream of riding in a helicopter a realization.
If you want to give someone special to you that same chopper ride, Xperience Days have a fun, interesting, and exciting manhattan helicopter tour activity for you. Enjoy a 16 to 20 minute private tour and swoop over Central Park, the Empire State and Chrysler buildings, pass over the United Nations and around the Statue of Liberty.
Let the impressive New York skyline be forever etched in that special person’s memory forever.
Help Firefox Set A World Record
June 13, 2008
On June 17, 2008 Firefox will attempt to grab the Guinness World Record for the most number of software downloads in 24 hours. Participating in this will not require you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face; you just have to download Firefox 3 that will be launched in that said date.
As of this writing, 7,146 have already pledged to participate in this activity. You can commit yourself in case you haven’t done so, by clicking on the badge in this post. If you are wondering why should you switch to Firefox, check out the reasons here.
Interested In Promo Products Bearing My URL?
June 13, 2008
Any company knows the value of good advertising. That is why most of them spend millions to promote their products or services to the public. The traditional way is to invest in trimedia ads which cost a hefty sum of money.
Often overlooked is the value of custom imprinted promotional products which not only leave a strong and lasting impression to customers but is also more useful and have a good brand mileage.
It is also more affordable that even bloggers can tap this medium in order to promote their own sites. Perhaps someday, I’ll be able to have my URL printed in roadster mugs, lunch sack, stack pens, and shirts and give it to some of my lucky readers assuming that they are interested.
Michael Johns – It’s All Wrong But It’s Alright
June 13, 2008
Though I think Johns had the potential, I wasn’t really that impressed with him until he sang this song. That is why it came as a surprise to me when he was eliminated the week after.
