After The Bout, Which David Will Fall?

I just saw the finals night of American Idol Season 7 and what can I say? I’m actually speechless. Not because it was a stunning finals night but because aside from the thousands of people inside the theater, there was really nothing grand with it. Well, Simon did wear a suit for a change.

I am actually a bit disappointed with David Cook. This was the moment where he should have shined all the more and yet I think he lacks the luster on finals night. Hands down, David Archuleta picked a better song for round two.

Archuleta might actually win Idol but expect Cook to deliver songs that will heat up the charts. Lastly, do you think that it was indeed a knockout? I don’t.

    i guess it’s a matter of preference. if i were to crown the winner based on last night’s show, archuleta should get it. if i were to base it on the season, cook. personally though, i prefer listening to archuleta’s voice.

    I haven’t followed the episodes after Michael Johns got booted out, so thanks for the reminder…Gonna watch some replays…

    Agree with Paolo, if I were to base it on the whole season - COOK def is the WiNNER. I never liked Archu since Top 12. But personally, I didn’t care at all, kung wala lang yung Fil-Am malamang di ko rin to panonoorin.

    Archuleta was a favorite since day one, but not suprise to see Cook winning it all…both are good though.

    I agree with you on your take. It was not a knockout. Both Davids did their best. kaya lang mas nasa safe mode si Archie kasi puro ballad kinanta nya. If he did a song like the “we can’t work it out” and the “You are the voice” kindof stuff, malamang di sya ganun kagaling.

    Pero hands down to both of them. for me ha, that was the best duel I have ever seen. KJ lang si simon pero nasa strategy nya na icriticise talaga si cook para bumuhos ang vote kay cook. day 1 pa lang paborito na nya si cook eh.
