Wear A Matching Color

I guess it is a fact that there are colors that enhances your appearance wearing them and there are those that does not. The question is how do you know what colors will look good on you?

I learned that a person’s personality can be classified as either cool or warm. Cool people looks good on jewel colors while warm ones fits well with earth tones.

You can determine which type you are by holding a yellow and a white gold chain or any similar items near your face. If the yellow gold suits your skin tone better then you are a warm person. The silver or white gold on the other hand, will look better on cool persons.

So the next time you go shopping, pick the clothes that matches not only your taste but most importantly, your personality. Unless you are able to get away wearing just about anything.

Make That Change Today

A friend of mine once told me the advantages of investing in life insurances. You not only manage to leave a secured life for your loved ones but you also maximize the value of your money. You see unlike leaving an inheritance which is usually coupled with a large tax, your beneficiaries benefits more with insurances.

The key here is to get a plan from a reliable and reputable company. Try studying what they offer by comparing their term life insurance quote and policies and get the plan that you think you’ll be able to afford. He also advised me that for security’s sake, it is best if you’ll keep your beneficiaries clueless about your insurance and inform one of your trusted friends about it just in case something happens.

However good insurances can be, why wait for death to make a difference in the lives of your loved ones. Make that change today by spending quality time and sharing your love with them. The good mories that you’ll be leaving to them will surely be a treasure more valuable than money.

Pinoys Are Moving To Greener Pastures

After New Zealand, it is now Canada’s turn to accept immigrants to perform agricultural jobs. The Philippine government is even offering courses in meat processing and cow milking for applicants.

I guess with the current state of the Philippines where opportunity is elusive for those over 30 years old and non-degree holders, handling cows and cattle supplies will definitely be better than staying in the country hoping that things will be better sooner.

This is one sad truth, we have become one, if not the biggest exporter of global manpower all because of poverty.

Naruto Manga 402: The Gap Grows Wider

After Sasuke learned from Madara the apparent story behind Itachi’s life, and the conflict between the Leaf Village and that of the Uchihas, he dripped into past memories spent with his brother Itachi. He remembered when they used to play hide and seek, the times he practiced shuriken throws with him, when Itachi used to carry him behind his back, and that time when he told him that he is the ultimate obstacle the Sasuke himself must strive to overcome.

All these memories brought tears in Sasuke’s eyes. With those tears, the snake shed its last skin and rises to the sky as a new being. A hawk with an awakened Mangekyou and a single goal in mind – the complete and utter destruction of the Leaf.

Our Dream House

It is always been my Mom’s dream to have a decent house. Not that we live in a shanty but having a house largely made of wood and is more than 35 years old comes with a lot of problems in terms of repairs and maintenance.

As for our family’s dream house, it seems that everyone have their own dream piece in it. Mom wants a spacious garden and kitchen, my sister dreams of having an entertainment room complete with a large LCD television and home theater seating, and Dad needs a large storage room so we can keep the house tidy from his numerous tools. As for me, I’ll be content with a decent room that no flood water will reach.

God, grant us our dreams. :D

Got Myself A New Table

When we visited my grandmother’s house two month’s ago, I saw a table that caught my fancy. No it is no poker tables, just a simple desk with some drawers. I thought that it will do well in my room and if ever I manage to buy an LCD monitor, it will be perfect for that desk. My grandma is currently out of the country and so as much as I wanted to ask her for it, I can’t.

To my surprise, mom told me that lola called and when they asked for it, she readily agreed to give it to us. Now my problem is how to transport it from Las Pinas to Cavite. Bummer!

Rain, Rain, Comes Again

The Philippines have just experienced a number of typhoons for the past months and this is expected to peek up as we officially enter the rainy season.

It is wise to start preparing for the rainy days. Seal off those holes in your roof and prepare some elevated jigs for your appliances and sofa if your house is flood water prone. Check the condition and the availability of your rain gears like umbrellas, jackets, and boots. Also, make sure to have candles and rechargeable lamps or generators at hand as brownouts will be inevitable.

It is never too early to prepare. After all, Noah built an ark when it was still not raining. Be safe.
