April 17, 2008
Litratong Pinoy is a weekly tag open to Filipino-oriented photography people. Participants will be posting every Thursday a photograph which they own based on the week’s theme.
The Rubik’s Cube is not only a mind game but also teaches something about life. It teaches us that we have to look at life wholly and that cheating can only bring ruin and offers no real satisfaction.

American Idol Season 7’s Top 7 Sings Mariah Carey

If you are reading this post elsewhere
other than I Set No Corner, chances are, it is stolen.

A lot of people watching American Idol were shocked when Michael Johns was voted off last week. Others were even offended with the way Ryan Seacrest announced it. I really think someone else should have gone instead of him. It was a shame that he was voted off after a good performance.

Anyway, tonight was all about Mariah Carey songs as she was the guest vocal coach of the episode. With her five octave range and chart topping songs, singing her songs will be a challenge everyone must overcome. Here’s what I think of tonight’s performances:
No Need To Wait To Make That Purchase
April 16, 2008
These days, I guess everyone can name at least one family member who is working abroad. The country is benefiting well from their remittances. However, have you experienced the need to immediately buy something that the family need but the cash to pay for it have yet to arrive? This is when you appreciate owning a credit card. However, it is not enough that you have one; make sure that yours is one of the leading cards out there.
Those belonging to the Top 10 Credit Cards are able to give payment and interest schemes that benefit the card holder. From low interest rates, good rewards program, great customer service, up to offering a No Interest Credit Cards, clearly makes any card holder a definite winner.
You no longer need to wait to purchase urgent things because of delayed remittances. Swipe that plastic card and enjoy the benefits of your purchase without the need to wait. Then pay for it through a method that you find most convenient.
Rest Well Tita Cora

LATEST TWIT
Surprisingly, rain pours over the metro today along with another shocking news mom told me when I arrived home. Tita is gone.
—
It was shocking indeed since we just took her for a consultation last Saturday. The last time I saw her before that was two months ago and she seemed fine. However last Saturday, she was complaining of her aching lower back that causes her difficulty in walking even with her crutches and her right hands and right face were swollen.
I thought that she was indeed in a bad shape but it never crossed my mind that she’ll pass away after two days. I know that her siblings were also not expecting this as they even bought a month’s supply of her medication.
This morning, dad received a call that Tita was refusing to take her medicines and asked him and another brother to go to Las Pinas. Sadly, she was gone when they arrived.
God’s Thinking Is Not Man’s Thinking

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. (Colossians 2:8)
There is a subtle temptation that encourages Christians to be “practical.” That is, they try to do God’s work in man’s way. “Getting results” becomes the primary focus. It almost seems that we believe that the end justifies the means. Don’t be led away by the world’s reasoning. An examination of God’s Word shows that the means are sometimes even more important than the results. The world tries to convince you that as long as you can accomplish something for the kingdom of God, that’s all that matters. For example, Ananias and Sapphira gave an offering to their church, which was a good thing, but they did it deceitfully. God judged them immediately, not for what they did, but for how they did it (Acts 5:1–11).
Naruto Manga 397: Sasuke Activates Mangekyou!
April 12, 2008
As Tobi was halfway in removing his mask, a strange thing happened to Sasuke when he saw Tobi’s right Sharingan eye. Blood started dripping from his left eye as his tomoe seal started swirling forming a Mangekyou Sharingan that automatically called Amaterasu to engulf Tobi who can’t do anything but to fall back into the darkness.
As the surprised Sasuke managed to get a grip of himself, Tobi explains that it seems that Itachi transferred his eye techniques to his younger brother before he died. He set it up to automatically activate Amaterasu at the sight of Tobi’s Sharingan either as a last ditch effort to kill him or to simply keep him away from Sasuke.
