Naruto Manga 396: Tobi Reveals Himself As Madara

Naruto Manga Chapter 396: Introduction - Wanting to personally witness the outcome of the battle between the Uchiha brothers, Tobi decides to rush out of his fight against the leaf ninjas. But before rushing out of the scene, Kakashi noticed that their opponent possesses a Sharingan eye and this left him wondering who they were up against.
Realizing the danger that awaits Sasuke, Kakashi leads the team to head out and immediately find Sasuke’s location before the Akatsuki gets there first. Using her Byakugan, Hinata spotted an area in the forest burning with a black fire. Kakashi immediately knew that it was Amaterasu and rushed out towards the place. However, Tobi beats them to the scene arriving at a speed of light.
Waking up in Tobi’s lair and still weak from his wounds, Sasuke listens as an enemy he once fought before reveals that he wanted to explain something about Itachi. This caught Sasuke’s attention. However, Tobi decides to introduce himself first as another living, breathing Uchiha, and a man who knows a truth about Itachi - Uchiha Madara aka Tobi, the first Uchiha to possess the Mangekyou.

my brother and i were arguing about this. i said, tobi is madara. he said, tobi is obito (the one that gave kakashi his sharingan). i said, “where did you get that?”. he said from a very reliable source. i said, “prove it”. he said say obito 5 times.

he said somehow, there is tobi in obito.
hahaha. now i’m confused. i said, “well just have to see”.

i think and am convince that he’s dead. also, tobi said they have to get itachi’s corpse before the leaf ninjas arrive in the scene. anyway, we can confirm that next issue.

tobi being obito makes more sense than him being madara since madara should be very very old by now. however, we dont know the extent of the mangekyou’s power with a transplanted sharingan. tobi could even be both obito and madara in different respect at the same time. the same way i think pain is both yahiko and nagato.

oooh, i think so too since so far only 1-eye sharingan is shown also let’s consider the fact that tobi’s mask has only one hole, meaning only one eye. hehe.
