The Way

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
If you are walking daily with the Lord, you will not have to find God’s will—you will already be in it. If you are walking with Him in obedience day by day, you will always be in the will of God. The Holy Spirit’s role is to guide you step by step to do God’s will. Walking closely with God each day guarantees that you will be exactly where He wants you to be. You would have to reject all of the Holy Spirit’s activity in your life in order to get out of the will of God.

In Response: iRonnie Selects A Travel Music
“The first time I heard this song from Tracy Chapman I thought it has catchy and unique tune. Though it talks about escaping life’s problems, I do love to listen to it on a fast car. :)” ~ iRonnie

Carly Smithson Voted Off From Idol
April 24, 2008
If you are reading this post elsewhere
other than I Set No Corner, chances are, it is stolen.—
Carly Smithson was the 19th contestant voted off from American Idol Season 7. She made it through the top 6 and was eliminated April 23 after singing “Jesus Christ Superstar” on Andrew Lloyd Weber Night. I’d say her performance was just okay. I’m not really that impress. Though I think Brooke White should have been the one to go.
Her performance which I admired the most was way back during Hollywood Week when she sang Heart’s “Alone”.
iFlash For Litratong Pinoy: Hugis Ay Pahaba

Litratong Pinoy is a weekly tag open to Filipino-oriented photography people. Participants will be posting every Thursday a photograph which they own based on the week’s theme.
Pick Up Sticks is one of the games I used to play as a kid. It is one of those games with very simple rules: pick as many as you can without moving the others in the pile. In a way, it teaches us that we can go on pursuing our dreams without taking advantage of others.

Hooked On Cook
April 21, 2008
No, it’s not yet TGIF time but I can’t help but share David Cook’s interpretation of Always Be My Baby. I’ve been listening to it for the whole day today.
What I like about this guy is the way he turns around the songs he choose to perform on American Idol. Take last week for instance, he successfully made a Mariah Carey song into something that the male specimen will not be ashamed to listen to. I cannot help but to look forward to his next performance because he can manage to pull off nice surprises most of the time.
Also, kudos to the arranger. It was an excellent job!

For us bloggers, writing online is a means for us to express our opinion and views on certain topics that interests us. However, this doesn’t guarantee that a blogger will hit the A in academic custom writing assignments.
Some will labor with the formal structure that these papers require and the free and opinionated blogger pen’s magic might not work with it very well. This might be the time to get custom writing services help.
Writing-Services.org’s US and UK writers can assist you by providing writing assignment samples regardless of your academic level. Their custom writing service comes with a 24/7 live support and ensures a 12 hour delivery.
Anointing Jesus’ Feet
April 20, 2008
Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. (John 12:3)
Mary seemed drawn to the feet of Jesus. It is not surprising that of all those who followed Jesus, Mary was the one to anoint His feet. The disciples would have their opportunity to show the same love, but pride would prevent them (John 13:12–13). Martha, too, was prone toward acts of service, but she had developed a different kind of relationship with Jesus than Mary had. While Martha had labored on Jesus’ behalf in the kitchen, Mary had joyfully sat at Jesus’ feet and listened to Him teach (Luke 10:38–42). Because Mary had come to know and love Jesus in this way, she was ready to humble herself and offer this poignant expression of love to Him. Such depth and sincerity of love comes only through spending time in close fellowship with Jesus.
