David Hernandez, Voted Off On American Idol 7

March 13, 2008 · Print This Article

If you are reading this post elsewhere other than I Set No Corner, chances are, it is stolen.

On a new and grander stage, some have managed to step up their performances while others where simply regressing week after week. Worst, the latter group were doing it on the Top 12 period.

Ramielle need to pull out something magical. I know that with the Filipino community’s support she can actually reach the Top 3 but there is no greater pride to know that you have earned the judges’ respect as well. Syesha and Michael, two singers who earned my admiration during Hollywood week, have yet to deliver a memorable performance.

Sadly, David Hernandez seemed to lose his brilliance and became the first to be voted off the Top 12. In my opinion, as far as consistency is concerned, the lady Cook should have been the one to go.

The Smithson I liked have finally managed to deliver on John Lennon-Paul McCartney night a stellar performance with “Come Together”.

Ron, it’s fixed. The procuder has already picked the winner. Guess who?

    … Me!

I saw this episode this morning. I thought Ramielle would be booted out since her performance is really boring. I agree with the judges, she really needs to come out of her shell.

But I doubt it if she would be voted off because of the Solid Filipino block behind her.

    K,
sabi ko na nga ba ikaw mananalo e. ahaha! i expected david h. to stay a bit longer. pero ganon talaga ang buhay. usap usapan na naka apekto daw ata yung intriga sa kanya.

    BP,
actually kung natanggal si ramielle kanina i really wouldnt mind. she have been giving forgettable performances for the last 2weeks. :(

I’d bet Ramiele will place sixth, next to go is Kristy (I don’t know why they want to keep her in the competition than David H, beauty maybe?) then Syesha (not connecting with the audience) then Chikizie (he’s working on it), then Amanda (she’s all over the place - just rockin’ at the mo’), then Ramiele — but who knows, I heard Danny N.’s fans are rooting for her now. I don’t mind who’s winning as long as it’s not Carly.

    And… Jason & Brooke, yawnnz!

    K,
if brooke wins, that’s fine by me. :D

We were of the same opinion. I would have been happy had Kristy Lee Cook was the first voted off. And Ramiele should really deliver. Nawala yung Aretha Franklin-like voice niya!

    SASHA,
im starting to think that ramielle is just a girl with a good voice but is no idol material. the only time she managed to impress the judges since the top 24 was when she sang a lani-misalucha-like version of you dont have to say you love me. :(

remember the three contestants linked to their personal “scandals?” dalawa na ang natanggal. i hope ramiel won’t be next. ;-)

    NAC,
ang alam ko lang na scandal yung kay david hernandez and ramielle e. sino pa nga ba yung isa?

  10. Kotsengkuba on March 25th, 2008 12:32 am

The other one involved Amanda Overmyer having caught driving under the influence of drugs in 2002 ata. Oh ha! san ka pa ;-)
Acutally ayos sana si DH tsaka cool na cool din si Amanda. Yari si Ramiele sa susunod, sana kayanin pa ng voting powers nya.

at least overmyer’s is not “sexual”. with the way ramielle is performing, i wouldnt be surprised if will be the one to go. actually, hindi nakakapang hinayang.

Got something to say?
