Naruto Manga 389: The Blood Line Shows The Limit?

With Sasuke overcoming Tsukuyomi, the use of Genjutsu have now become pointless.

While Itachi prepares himself in using Amaterasu, the younger Uchiha wasted no time in launching his counter attacks. Suffering from the side effects of using the Tsukuyomi, Itachi failed to dodge the the rigged Shadow Shuriken technique launched by his brother and it hit him right at the back.

Wanting to waste no time, Sasuke attacks using the Grand Fire Ball technique. Fighting fire with fire, Itachi lauched a similar technique to combat Sasuke head on. Such great heat that caused Sasuke to suffer some burns and to call on his cursed seal.

As if orchestrated, the brothers attacked one another at the same time with the same Grand Fireball technique. Just as it seems that Sasuke is gaining the edge as his fire now pushing closer to closer to his rival, Itachi launches the mysterious black fire that can consume anything - the Amaterasu.

Naruto Manga 389: Sasuke Turns The Tide! showed Itachi struggling to fight against his brother. The Mangekyou, though can launch such powerful attacks, requires a great deal of strength from its user. On the next issue, Naruto Manga Chapter 390, we’ll see if the Amaterasu will yield favorable results for Itachi otherwise, he might not have enough strength to turn his dream into reality.
