2008 World Pyrolympics Schedule

January 8, 2008 · Filed Under All Entries, Feature

2006 World PyrolympicsBelow is the 2008 World Pyrolympics schedule circulating around the internet.

February 16 – China (CN) vs Germany (DE)
February 23 – Japan (JP) vs Australia (AU)
March 1 – Korea (KR) vs Dubai (AE)
March 8 – Italy (IT) vs Venezuela (VE)
March 15 – France (FR) vs Philippines (PH)

I’m just not sure how much of it is true since I can’t seem to locate the activity’s official site. Given that it is, I am a bit surprised that they have scheduled it this late contrary to previous years. However, late is better than none at all.

UPDATE!

Feb16 – I have reasons to doubt that this event will push through today, you may want to check out their official site for updates.

Feb17 – Below is the official schedule of the 2008 World Pyrolympics as posted on their website. Firing starts at 6:00PM. Each aerial pyrotechnic display shall be for the duration of twenty (20) minutes.

March 29 – China and Germany
April 05 – Japan and Australia
April 12 – Korea and Dubai
April 19 – Italy and Venezuela
April 26 – France and Philippines

    CHUVANESS,
yup! i heard that it’ll still be in esplanade. kaya lang since all shows will be on saturdays siguradong traffic. we usually go on a weekday sked before para iwas traffic.

thanks for the sched. a friend of mine told me that GMA 7 won the rights over the new year sched at MOA, hence, the delayed sched for pyro. GMA 7 held their new year fest at MOA, so my friend said. wasn’t able to watch it.

    DENSIO,
no problem bro. however, i cannot personal verify the sked. i checked their website and looked around moa for any event poster but still havent seen either of them. i do wish that the sked is real.

    OTEP,
    hi thanks for dropping by.

i have some doubts that this activity will push hrough. i am just not seeing enough publicity on this unlike the previous ones. anyway, you may want to check their site (currently undergoing maintenance) from time to time for updates…
