2007 In Retrospect

is past happiness too well remembered…”
If there is one thing I am grateful for new years that is that it always bring a sense of new beginnings. People who took the wrong turn are encouraged to get back on the right track, those who had misunderstandings make amends, and those who were discouraged regains hope.
2007 was probably the worst time in my life. I’m not saying that it brought total havoc, just a lot of not so good things. However, as I customarily do on new year, I wanted to see life as half-full instead of half-empty glass of water. So I am grateful to God for these:
[01] I Set No Corner, my self-hosted WordPress powered blog, went online last February and acquiring my own domain name by May.
[02] Angelito was added to our family and since then has been our common point of interest.
[03] A new interest with plants.
[04] Managing to visit a number of interesting local spots.
[05] For movies like Ratatouille that have managed to lift my spirit.
[06] The opportunity that came to my sister to learn more about life.
[07] My PC didn’t broke down after being soaked in flood waters.
[08] For those who participated in the two tags I started this year.
[09] For the sole blogger eye ball I attended this year.
[10] For the opportunity to earn that blogging have brought me.
[11] For the friends I met online.
[12] For the lessons that our landscaping stint have taught me.
[13] Dad managed to recover from the stroke he recently experienced.
[14] I am thankful and honored, to stand as best man to a dear friend’s wedding.
[15] Thank you God for my family and for keeping us safe.
For 2008, I’m setting the following goals:
[01] Have a stable source of income.
[02] Grab a Nikon d80 or a d40.
[03] Print a book.
[04] Learn to play the harmonica.
[05] Have at least one vacation.
[06] Eat more veggies and do some cardio.
[07] Plan a merrier Christmas and a happier new year.

my dad knows how to play harmonica,. nung maliit ako tinuturuan nya ako, pero mas gusto ko ang piano, kaya dun ako natuto.
everytime na kakakita ako ng harmonica naalala ko sya wahhh.. ang tagal na kasi naming hinde nagkikita eh. hay
pero sana matupad lahat ng goal mo,. sana rin maganda ang pasok ng bagong taon sa ating lahat.. happy new year!

sinukuan ko ang piano. i think i was too old to learn it back then. ayaw na sumunod ng mga daliri ko. nagsasabay kasi silang dalawa. ahahaha! naisip ko harmonica na lang. madali pang bitbitin.

crossing my fingers on the vegetable thing. i just plan of eating more than what i consume now which is almost close to none. kung bakit kasi di nauso yung “makulay and buhay sa sinabawang gulay” jingle noong bata pa ako e. baka na encourage akong kumain ng veggies then. ahaha!
you eat those who eat veggies? di ba carnivore yun? ahahaha!
