Not The Same Without You

This Saturday marks the start of December. Next thing we know, we’ll be counting down for Christmas using the fingers in our hands.

I kinda miss the way we celebrate Christmas when my gramps were still alive. Crowded house, fun stories, noisy kids, lots of food. But ever since they passed away, the families had no reason to gather together and chose to celebrate on their own.

I told myself last year that I’ll make an effort to make this season more merrier for my family. Sadly, I don’t really know how to do that especially now that my sister is abroad. It seems that as we grow old, Christmas becomes less merrier.

Click Flick: The dog is cute in that santa outfit. Plus, the Christmas lights in the background adds up to the holiday feel. Ironically, the photo’s gloomy tone and low depth of field draws us to the dog’s sad expression.

Same here, Ron. I’m keeping it simple. I miss home but as usual, “ET Call Home” is what makes Xmas meaningful, at least for me.

with or without bonggang celebration, basta complete yung family, masaya pa din ang Pasko.

sa min naman, as we grow old, xmas seems to be merrier…lalo kase kaming dumadami, hay naku, lalong maingay!!! nakakarindi naaaah! Hahaha.
