It’s 29 days before Christmas! How does a virtual Monito/Monita sounds like?
Monito Monita is a traditional Filipino Christmas gift giving activity among friends, colleagues, and peers. Rules may vary depending on what was agreed upon. The identity of the giver is withheld from his Monito/Monita (the person who will be given a gift, monito if male and monita if female) until the set time of “revelation”.
To foster camaraderie and to be acquainted with other bloggers we have still not met, let’s come up with an activity in time for Christmas. Participants will send an E-card with a Christmas message to another blogger. Let’s just call it, “Ronito, Ronita.”

How to Join?
[1] Fill up and submit the details of this form.
[2] Copy and post the rules to your blog. Include the “backward list” (a record of how the tag reached you) and add your name.
[3] Recruit for participants. Be sure to get their consent. Should they agree to join, add them to your “forward list” (bloggers you’ve convinced to join). Remind them to do item #1.
** Participants will be accepted until December 16 (Phil. time) only. On December 17, the organizer will email to you the details of your Ronito/Ronita. Send him/her a Christmas greeting via E-cards preferably on December 25. Should time be a constraint, you can send it earlier.

hmm.. im actually thinking about it. but my main purpose why i prefer to link on the home instead of the post is i want people to focus on the blog/blogger and not just on the tag. remember that my main purpose is to promote camaraderie sana.

about the forward list, i leave it up to you. ako kasi once nag express ng commitment inililink ko na tapos chine check ko na lang later on if nagawa na nya. i want to gather as much participants sana kasi the more the manyier.. este merrier.
napansin ko lang na mas lalaganap tong MEME na to if hindi voluntary…like yung regular tagging

yup i agree. kaya lang for this one i want to get willing participants since the tag does not end by just re-posting it sa blog. i dont want people not getting their e-cards because the one who were suppose to send it simply failed to find one kasi napilitan lang naman sila sumali.
the best approach here is to convince people to join. kumbaga hingi muna tayo permiso from them bago natin sila i-tag.
teka, slow cguro ako on the uptake. I read the rules pero di ko pa ma get. Do we send ecards to our forward list or ikaw yung magsasabi kung who we will send to. How many ecards are we gonna be sending? baka sangkatutak na ecards yan??
and is there a specified place to obtain the ecards? or kahit anong ecard and from anywhere pwede?
hmm.. we put in our forward link list, names of peeps who’re willing to join. and let them fill up the form. but you’ll just email us the name of 1 person who we will be sending an ecard to on the specified date, korrek ba ako, ronnie?
if I got it right, then the only question left is: is there a specific site for the ecards or from anywhere pwede?

you will only send an ecard to one person. i’ll email to you his details by the 17th. so lalabas 1 person = 1 monito (1 ecard). you can get your ecard on any site.
the forward list ay “bilang ganti” lang sa mga na recruit mo na magli link back syo.
