Naruto Manga 378: The Hermit Fights Using Genjutsu

Even when Jiraiya is at Hermit Mode, his most powerful form, he cannot help but get frustrated for his failed attacks. Not knowing what else to do, the male toad suggested a retreat.

Escaping through the pipes, Jiraiya and the toad couple, discussed their observations about the Rikudou boys in order to come up with a plan. It seems that each have one unique technique and that one technique is all they can use. Since Taijutsu will not work against their enemies who will resort to combination attacks with them sharing each others vantage points, and with Ninjutsu being absorbed by the fat guy, Jiraiya was left with no choice but to use Genjutsu.

This attack will be performed by the toad couple since Jiraiya is no Genjutsu user. By singing a duet, the technique will attack the victim’s brain through their sense of hearing and will cast an illusion. The group executed their plan perfectly leveling the playing field back to One On One: Naruto Manga 378!

Next chapter will be the conclusion on this battle.

If ever Jiraiya survives this and if he manage to beat Pain, I am guessing that it will just be a temporary victory. We do not know just how many Rikudou boys are really there.
