I don’t like this song at first. I initially find it too unreal, too techno-manipulated. Well, it grew on me and found that those same reasons were the strength of the song. This will be our last stop. I hope you enjoyed the ride.

Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is a four-time Grammy-winning American singer and occasional actor. He came to fame as one of the front men of the pop band *NSYNC in the ’90’s. Timberlake released his debut solo album, Justified, in 2002. It went on to sell over seven million copies worldwide, solidifying Timberlake’s position as a pop superstar. Timberlake’s second album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, was released on September 12, 2006. The first single, “SexyBack”, was released July 7, 2006, and was produced by Timbaland, who also offers vocals for the track.

This Saturday marks the start of December. Next thing we know, we’ll be counting down for Christmas using the fingers in our hands.

I kinda miss the way we celebrate Christmas when my gramps were still alive. Crowded house, fun stories, noisy kids, lots of food. But ever since they passed away, the families had no reason to gather together and chose to celebrate on their own.

I told myself last year that I’ll make an effort to make this season more merrier for my family. Sadly, I don’t really know how to do that especially now that my sister is abroad. It seems that as we grow old, Christmas becomes less merrier.

I once heard a saying that music soothes the savage beast. It indeed does.

Whenever, I feel extreme emotions of sadness, depression, or anger, an appropriate choice of good music can calm and uplift my emotions. That is why one of the things I am thankful to technology for is coming up with portable music players that lets me enjoy good music anytime, anywhere. Plugging in the earphones of my mp3 player is already enough to transport me to my own happy place.

With the advent of digital photography, a lot of gadgets relevant to it have been surfacing lately. Others are modifications of existing technologies, while some tries to come up with a whole new different product. One of those currently in the market is digital frames.

A digital picture frame is quite easy to use. Just take a photo using your digital camera, transfer your memory card to your digital photo frame, and then choose your favorite slide show using the remote control that goes with it.

It’s 29 days before Christmas! How does a virtual Monito/Monita sounds like?

Monito Monita is a traditional Filipino Christmas gift giving activity among friends, colleagues, and peers. Rules may vary depending on what was agreed upon. The identity of the giver is withheld from his Monito/Monita (the person who will be given a gift, monito if male and monita if female) until the set time of “revelation”.

To foster camaraderie and to be acquainted with other bloggers we have still not met, let’s come up with an activity in time for Christmas. Participants will send an E-card with a Christmas message to another blogger. Let’s just call it, “Ronito, Ronita.”

Holiday travel. It isn’t easy. Then why do we do it? Why cram the trunks and endure the airports? You know the answer. We love to be with the ones we love.

That moment when, for a moment, everyone is quiet as we hold hands around the table and thank God for family and friends and pumpkin pie.
