Naruto Manga 376: What Will Jiraiya’s Choice Be?

In Naruto Manga 376: The Destined Child, Jiraiya takes us to the time when The Great Toad Sage reveals a vision for him back when he was still a young ninja. The prediction goes like…
“I see you becoming both a pervert without equal and a shinobi of incredible talent. And someday, you will take on a pupil. This pupil [ed. the destined child] will become the harbinger of a great revolution in the world of ninja. I have seen as much in my dreams. They will finally bring peace to the world … or utterly destroy it. The result of their revolution will be one or the other. You will be their master. Their teacher. And eventually, you will be forced to make a difficult choice. The path you take, will determine the fate of the world.”
Now, assuming his most powerful form, Jiraiya wonders if the time for him to make that choice has finally arrived. Looking much tougher and meaner, and with two other powerful toads on each of his side, Jiraiya managed to force Pain out of his hiding by defeating the latter’s summoned chameleon. With Pain doing a human summon, two other characters dressed like Akatsukis will face Jiraiya in combat.

I think that Pain’s latest summons are not really Akatsuki members but a “form” of himself. Remember that Pain has a different appearance a few chapters back.
Also, I can’t help but be amazed how the prophecy could also fit that of Naruto. His is the power to destroy with the Kyuubi’s power, and his is also the power to bring peace with his own power. As Chiyoba-sama in Chapter 279 said…
I am glad that some like you [Naruto] appeared in this world of Shinobi that we old people created. In the past, everything I did was a mistake. But at the very end, it seems I am able to do the right thing. Sand and Konoha, their futures are differing from our past. What Kakashi said, your mysterious power, that powrr may change the future. Become a Hokage unlike any before.

Tsong, yung meteor garden nga din pakigawan ng ganitong series…lol
pati na din yun cedie tsaka marimar…lalo na yung PBB…hahahah
Gud am Ron! Nangungulit lang!
CHUVANESS,
naku mahirap kasi kapag tv series. kapag nakaligtaan mo panoorin yung episode alaws na. unlike itong manga. hehehe.
tyaka ayoko ng pbb no! runaway na ako dun. hahaha! (pero sumisilip din paminsan minsan ^_-)
i disagree, think the 2 summons are actually akatsuki members, dead akatsuki members. so it has something to do with necromastery. haha. again, it’s just a guess. i could be wrong.
notice how jiraiya looks like? true to the name “hermit mode”. hehe. you gotta love the 2 small frogs on his shoulders. they’re arguing. one’s a girl the other’s a boy and they are a couple. hahaha.
go jiraiya.
Why do I think that the 2 akatsuki members were the 2 immortals they defeated earlier? hehe mahirap na kalaban yun.
I also think the destned child nga is Naruto. Student rin naman nya eh.
JAMES,
cuddly little couple indeed. a small but terrible pair. they managed to tore that monster in two in just a snap.
i thought that the two new summons are two forms of Pain because of what seems to look like holes in the neck part of one of them which i think is similar to that in pain’s face.
FERDZ,
iniisip ko din yung possibility na si naruto yun.. mukhang aantayin na lang nating ma unveil ang mga pangyayari.
btw, can you help me with the yapb? bakit sa iyo square ang thumbnails pero sa akin mini version talaga nila?
[...] Just as I thought, the two characters summoned by Pain are not just Akatsuki members. They could not possibly be a shadow clone for they possess an appearance different from their summoner. Whatever they are, their presence multiplied Jiraiya’s trouble by three for both of them possesses their own Rinnegan. [...]
[...] On Naruto Manga Chapter 405: Left Behind, Fukasaku-sama, without beating around the bush, broke the news to them that Jiraiya have died in battle and left a coded message etched behind his back. Naruto felt that it was wrong for Tsunade to send Jiraiya on that mission alone and walked out the room leaving Tsunade and the others wishing that Naruto is indeed the destined child. [...]
