The message of Jesus to the religious person is simple: It’s not what you do. It’s what I do. I have moved in.
Religious rule-keeping can sap your strength. It’s endless. There is always another class to attend, Sabbath to obey, Ramadan to observe. No prison is as endless as the prison of perfection. Her inmates find work but never find peace. How could they? They never know when they are finished.
Christ, however, gifts you with a finished work. He fulfilled the law for you. Bid farewell to the burden of religion. Gone is the fear that having everything done, you might not have done enough. You climb the stairs, not by your strength, but his. God pledges to help those who stop trying to help themselves.

God is a person and like any other person, he desires that we spend more time with Him and values our faithfulness. It is good to busy ourselves with the affairs of his kingdom, but may it not make us forget spending time with the king.

I love reading your devotions here. Thank you for sharing them. Dito na lang ako mag de-devotion. hehe
This one is a reminder that we should not put too much faith in ourselves. Bad things can happen and it’s likely to upset that faith. But if you put your faith in God — there’s nothing to lose, everything to gain. You are as eternally secure as God Himself.

@Kuya K, - hehehe aray! sapol! LOL not actually rants it was a principle on my part. But I never knew that it would blow into such proportion. That’s why I’m just keeping quiet at every judgment and prejudice hurled at me actually some of them are below the belt. Yet I never asked anyone for help I just fought them alone. Because It was my war. And I have the full back up of my Priest and nun friends from our Our Diocese and from all over eventhough they are not public figures. hehehe. Anyhow I’m trying to go back to my normal mode uli ako. I’m so affected by all of these that I’m thinking of getting off line permanently and just resume later after I arrive in the US. Thats why up to now I still dont have any new post yet because Im really thinking of calling it quits and just go back to my friendster blog where I really belong.
It was not really my intention to be sensational or what because I’m not the type like they always twit me with LOL. It was a principle and moral/social obligation and I dont regret having all these consequences because I am still firm at my convictions. Kaya nga lang not all wars are successful. there will always be casualties. and in this particular case, readers. kaya I just kept quiet na lang kasi nadadamay yung mga readers ko. walang manguya na tinapay sa araw araw na pagdalaw nila sa blog ko. It hurts when you are just saying your piece and everyone will gang up on you just because you have your own opinion. and I think I have a fair share of mistakes din naman. but there will always be his wisdom in the end. hehehe

Blue, no no you got me all wrong, I was meaning to say about Ron’s “rants”, his personal complaints, like “I don’t know why some people hate me”. Those kind of rants.
Like I said in your earlier post, you made your piece, you shared your opinion, stated the facts and I admire your courage for doing that. Although so many other have reacted of the “issue”, remember that every writer/blogger should also be responsible to answer/react to what the readers has to say.
I think good blogging is not just about how many stories we can cram in one post, it’s not about how in-depth we can make an article, it’s not even about how many late nights we spent researching for our stories but we also need to write something that creates incentive to share stories for those people who reads it. Sometimes when I post a particular entry, I would always end up asking “Would I share this with my friend”?
Ron, apologies for using this space, ya see now this is a rant.
Ron as for the FREE VIEW TAG, I swear, I got all so confused now with the trackbacks. Outrageous but, fun.

I just used this space siguro to speak out na rin haha kasi I just tore down my site a while ago to breathe a new fresh air LOL. Medyo na shock talaga ako sa sobra bilis ngpangyayari na di ako handa sa ganun ka lakas na impact hehe…

I hope walang nagtatangka sayo or whatever, aba ganun na ba kababaw ang mga tao ngayon? Well for you decision, I can’t say I think it’s “wrong”. Dahil you’re creating your own community saka ka naman aalis. Just follow the flow, today you’re funny, tomorrow you’re bad and today you’re sexy. Ganun lang yun parang movie, may action, may drama, at may tawanan.

oo kuya kaya kita mo mega speech ako dito hehehe. sobra hurting ako. di sa pagiging sensitive (cliche na actually sa twitter yan). di kasi ako sanay na tinitira ng patalikod. taz hinack pa site ko. tapos prinoprovoke ako kasi dalaw sila ng dalaw sa blog ko only to screenshot some of my pics and make fun of them in a certain forum.
actually I can sue them for that because my graphics and photos are copyrighted pero as a son of St. Francis pinabayaan ko na lang. i tore down the site para wala muna ako sakit ng ulo ng hindi ko makita pagmumukha mga yun. kasi talagang sa sobra galit kobaka masugod ko sila sa manila. i have the capacity because im from quezon province (land of the NPAs) hahaha. para na lang di ako maprovoke, I tore down my site. akona umiiwas. di nila alam kung pano magalit taga quezon….
hehehe now kuya K, this is a RANT hahaha…
