Metrostar Ferry Sails To Cavite City

August 21, 2007 · Print This Article

I heard from last night’s news that the Metrostar Ferry servicing from Cavite City to SM Mall of Asia and vice versa, will commence its operation today.

This will definitely be a great relief to some commuters since the point to point travel time of 1.5 to 2 hours via land will be reduced to almost half. The bad side however is that the ferry’s fare costs almost twice as much. I guess those who are seriously considering time as gold will be the ones to patronize this service.

For those who are interested in the ferry service, below are some informations that might interests you:

    That’s a very good development. But I also think the price is too hefty. I bet they’ll lower it down soon if people doesn’t patronize it as much. The MRT has a high price before but they lowered it down. Hopefully this one as well.

    @FERDZ
    they probably will. otherwise, it will end in closure like the other ferry service that has gone before it.

    @SIDNEY
    i agree. however, if payment is insanely high, the public may not be able to avail of it either.

    but i know that it is not cheap to maintain operations of a ferry boat.

    @ROB
    well that is 60 for you if you are still a student. otherwise, i might agree with you in just taking the bus and leaving home early.
