Truefaith - Kung OK Lang Sa’Yo
August 31, 2007
![]()
True Faith started in 1992, and since then, has become one of the Philippines’ most popular and accomplished bands.
The band took its name from New Order’s 1987 hit single “True Faith”, revealing the group’s new wave origins. At first, True Faith mined mid-’80s new wave sounds for its breezy pop formula, but the group eventually ventured further into the Philippine mainstream, firmly embracing middle of the road radio.
Presently, this OctoArts-EMI label band has 11 best-selling albums under its belt . Its music is best described as a blend of jazz, folk, pop and rock music.

“P” Not Just Stands For Parking
August 28, 2007
Another weekend had past. I hope you were able to spend this long one with your family and loved ones. Some of you have probably went out malling or to dine in a good restaurant. Though, there are probably some who went out shopping or just buy stuffs to fill the refrigerator with. However you spent your weekend, if you went out with your car, the odds are high that you paid to park. Because here in the Philippines, the P sign is almost synonymous to PESOSESOSES!
The Christ of Your Mondays

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13 NKJV
Stand and consider:
The Hubble Space Telescope sends back infrared images of faint galaxies that are perhaps twelve billion light-years away (twelve billion times six trillion miles).
Astronomers venture a feeble estimate that the number of stars in the universe equals the number of grains of sand on all the beaches of the world.
The star Betelgeuse has a diameter of 100 million miles, which is larger than the earth’s orbit around the sun.
Why the immensity? Why such vast, unmeasured, unexplored, “unused” space? So that you and I, freshly stunned, could be stirred by this resolve: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
The Christ of the galaxies is the Christ of your Mondays.

Bamboo is a Filipino alternative rock band founded in 2002 by the former vocalist of Rivermaya, Bamboo Mañalac. He serves as the band’s frontman, and it is named after him. According to Ira Cruz, the guitarist, the word bamboo also relates to strength and durability with an island feel to it. Two of its members, Bamboo Mañalac and Nathan Azarcon, were formerly part of Rivermaya. The other two members, Ira Cruz and Vic Mercado, were former instrumentalists of another band, Passage.

Help! Search Engines Are Keeping Me Boxed
August 24, 2007
Anyone would want to be included in the top result of search engines like Yahoo and Google. That is why I was glad to learn that I ranked 4th in a certain string of keywords in Yahoo. However, a question popped out of my mind after I noticed that the search result is pointing only to my index page,

“What if after a few more posts and that topic is no longer available in my index page, will my site still turn out in the search result for that same string of keywords?”Logically, I think it will no longer show. If it does, my visitors might not be directed properly to view that specific posts of mine. I would really want the results to point directly to my post’s permalink like it did to the #1 and #5 result in the picture above. I just don’t know how.
If anyone out there can clarify this confusion of mine please, shed me some light. ![]()
Metrostar Ferry Sails To Cavite City
August 21, 2007
I heard from last night’s news that the Metrostar Ferry servicing from Cavite City to SM Mall of Asia and vice versa, will commence its operation today.
This will definitely be a great relief to some commuters since the point to point travel time of 1.5 to 2 hours via land will be reduced to almost half. The bad side however is that the ferry’s fare costs almost twice as much. I guess those who are seriously considering time as gold will be the ones to patronize this service.
For those who are interested in the ferry service, below are some informations that might interests you:

Ratatouille
August 20, 2007
We originally plan to watch The Simpson’s. However, arriving at the cinema, we discovered that it shares screening time with Harry Potter. The former runs from opening up to 3:30 in the afternoon while the latter takes the rest of the slot.
I do not like rodents. Especially those who do not cower away when shooed by humans. With the germs that these creatures carry with them, the thought of contact with human food is equally dreadful. That is why I never had the inclination to watch Ratatouille. Fate however, do have her way.
You must not let anyone define your limits because of where you’ve come from. Your only limit is your soul. What I say is true, anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.
