hmm…very good questions to ask, ymir. i actually don’t have any answers to most of them, except the one that aldo rey already answered above.

it’s news to me that this is the current forecast…very interesting…i think this *might* happen partly because retiring or re-expatriating (balikbayans who are coming back home to stay – not sure if this is the correct term) pinoys from abroad are starting to pour back money for more long-term “investments” such as businesses and homes rather than just remittances…i think that some people might think twice about going abroad if this happens, but there will still be others who will decide to. if i remember right, the ratio was 1:25 during the 80s to early 90s, and people still left the country to work and live abroad during that time.

on reality shows, kahit sinasabing real daw ang nangyayari, you still can’t help but think if the whole thing’s scripted or they’re just acting it out. they know and they are aware that there are cameras around taking shots of them, so it’s not 100% real.
ewan ko rin kung kelan matatapos ang fever na ‘to… seems like it’s here to stay.
by the way, i visited your photoblog, you’ve got cool photos with very appropriate captions.

AH! Mind boggling nga yang mga katanungan mo. Di ko pa nga napapanood yang Banquet pati me nag-eexist palang “crazy for you” sa TV. Hehehe

#4: medyo affected nga kami sa pagbaba ng dollar kasi yung kapatid ko mas maliit na yung equivalent ng pinapadala na sa ngayon… but in all cases, mas advantage to sa country coz it means, when we import raw mats, mas malaki ang purchasing value natin…
#7: panay pantaserye nga tapos yung captain barbell kinopya pa sa smallville… that’s why i don’t go home very early…
