Cactus

We have two OJTs sa section namin last month. Buti na lang mababa lang yung number of hours na required nilang i-complete kasi wala na ding nag-aasikaso sa kanila. Wrong timing kasi ang pasok nila. Nasa delubyo ang aming unit plus the fact na parang lahat kami ay hindi sila kinagaangan ng loob. I guess they also struggled sa whole period na yun.

After they completed their OJT they left a cactus for Jimmy (adviser engineer namin) as a gift . Sabi ko, “Sir salamat daw sa pagiging tinik sa kanilang dibdib.”

As I observed the cactus, napansin ko na mas matulis pala yung mga thorns nya sa taas compared sa mga nasa gilid lang. Kaya if you want to prick someone with a cactus, be sure to use to ones on the top.

 

Last night I had a dream na nasa isang canteen kami ng bestfriend ko. I decided to order yung isang pansit na nasa counter but the crew, for some reason I cannot remember, refused to serve to me my chosen food.

Naikwento ko ito sa friend ko and he said na there may be things that I want in my life pero hindi ko makuha. Makes sense. Sure there are. Hindi lahat ng gusto natin ay mapapasa-atin but I will not stop trying. There are other ways of grabbing a cactus. You just have to find the part with the softest thorn and bear a little pain.
