Emergency 9-11

It has been three years.

I was inside Ate Lanie’s carinderia when I first saw the news about the incident. At first I thought it was some kind of movie. But I saw that it was CNN with a “LIVE” text written on the corner of the screen. Pagkagulat at pagkalungkot ang naramdaman ko noon. Kahit na gusto kong matuwa when I overheard that classes may be suspended because of it e hindi ko magawa. How could I be happy with the suspension of classes when thousands or millions of people are grieving over their losses?

We are not saddened in losing two monumental towers that probably costs a fortune. We are saddened because we empathize with those who lost their loved ones.Three years..I have already graduated from college, passed my board exam, working on my second job, going on with my life. I wish that those who lost their loved ones from the 9-11 attack can also say the same.
